TreasurerWomen in Progress is a women based club on the SUNY Old Westbury campus whose principles promote sisterhood and the empowerment of all women. We aim to provide a platform for women, helping to build and nurture their self confidence and allow their voices to be heard. Women in Progress also seeks to shed light on social issues, such as gender inequality, while also celebrating and honoring diversity in women. Women in progress is dedicated to empowering each other through our three main principles; Growth: promoting physical, emotional, and mental growth; Leadership: promoting leadership opportunities for women, nurturing workforce and educational leadership largely through programming; and Contribution: strengthening our community and enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.
