African students Association purpose is to Enlighten the political, social and cultural history of Africa. To Create a culturally enlightened community on campus by educating the students about Africa. To promote cultural awareness about African cultures and to serve our college community.
Founded in 1909, the NAACP is the nation's oldest and largest civil rights organization. From the ballot box to the classroom, the thousands of dedicated workers, organizers, leaders and members who make up the NAACP continue to fight for social justice for all Americans. The mission of the NAACP Youth & College Division shall be to inform youth of the problems affecting African Americans and other racial and ethnic minorities; to advance the economic, education, social and political status of African Americans and other racial and ethnic minorities and their harmonious cooperation with other peoples; to stimulate an appreciation of the African Diaspora and other people of color’s contribution to civilization; and to develop an intelligent, militant effective youth leadership.
Hairitage is to educate both the male and female population on hair, cosmetics and maintenance. Taking great care of oneself is universal. Hairitage is here to provide outstanding programs that are not only educational but enjoyable, we want to provide lifelong lessons that the student body will find useful outside of campus.
