Vice President English Pal gives international undergraduate and graduate Stony Brook students the opportunity to practice their conversational English in a casual setting with a native English speaker. At the same time, domestic students will be able to meet and learn from people of different cultures and languages. Each international student is paired with a native English speaker based on their application submissions, which provides insights on their interests, school year, and availability. Events are held throughout a full semester to allow pals to meet with other pals, in addition to creating a diverse community within the campus.
